Professor Luis Filgueira
Professor Filgueira is the Head of the Domaine Gross Anatomy in the Faculty of Science and Medicine at the University of Fribourg.
Teaching of Professor Filgueira includes gross anatomy, histology, embryology, cell biology and immunology.
Professor Filgueira directs and supervises research projects in clinical anatomy, medical and biomedical education, as well as in cell biology, focusing on immunology and stem cells.
Professor Filgueira coordinates and teaches the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Clinical Anatomy and helps with organising various courses for further education of medical doctors in clinical anatomy and surgical skills, e.g. in courses of Toxin Academy.
